The Grounds at the Doctor’s House are truly a sight to see a consisting of beautiful manicured gardens and stunning surroundings all year long. Visitors to the grounds enjoy the lush foliage, wild flower perennials and rose bushes in the spring and summer seasons, the colorful changing of the leaves in autumn, and the festive decor and white snow in the crisp Canadian winters.
The flag stone pathway in the central garden leads to a charming non-denominational chapel that was erected on the property and is connected to the main building via an underground tunnel. The chapel backs onto a ravine where the gardens extend.
The gardens overlook the main building where the Dining Room is situated, and walks out onto a beautiful outdoor patio where patrons are welcomed to dine. We encourage you to visit the grounds and take a journey into the past and relive the history of Kleinburg.
On-site wedding photography is reserved for weddings that take place in the chapel or are having their reception at the Doctor’s House. Wedding photography permits are available for Monday through Thursday at a cost of $100 per hour for the use of the gardens.
